THRACE. Apollonia Pontika. Late 5th-4th centuries BC. Diobol (Silver, 12 mm, 1.33 g, 7 h). Laureate facing head of Apollo. Rev. Upright anchor between A and crayfish; all within round incuse. SNG BM Black Sea 167. Topalov, Apollonia 56. A nicely toned and very sharp piece. The obverse somewhat double struck, otherwise, virtually as struck.
